Dose is a labour of love for husband and wife duo - Faye and Sim Bala.

An idea that came to fruition during lockdown 1 (can we even fathom that there were 3 actual lockdowns - what a fun time to be alive?!) Coffee was always at the centre, the beating heart of the business, but we lacked the skill and the funds to set up anything coffee related coming out of lockdown! So Faye set about growing the beauty side of the business first, figuring a loyal client base would be the perfect way to ensure some stability in a very wobbly, unknown time for businesses.

Three years down the line, two successful crowd-funding campaigns and 2 investor opportunities - dose has finally blossomed into the beauty she was always destined to be. Now based in bustling Altrincham Town Centre, you can visit dose 5 days a week. We serve Speciality Coffee + bakes from 10am - 2pm Tuesday - Saturday.

Our beauty techs work to their own hours which are detailed on the book now page, but you can find one of us in the shop from 10am onwards. Kids can come too (provided they are supervised) and well behaved dogs are welcomed with open arms.

Everyone is welcome at dose, whether you just want coffee, a beauty treatment, both or a new place to hang out + send your emails. Our doors are open and the coffee is hella good.

We do offer appointments on a walk in basis but we can get busy, so to avoid disappointment we’d recommend booking ahead - especially if your treatment requires a patch test.
